I witnessed a caterpillar in agony.
As it struggled to become a butterfly to come out of the cocoon.
It tried, it tried but it was all in vain.

In my haste I took a pair of scissors,
Enlarged the vent, out came the butterfly.
But she now crawls and can’t fly!

Dismay and disappointed I stood,
I had only brought it out of the cocoon to ease its pain!
I thought it would be butterfly’s gain!
Little did I know I had interfered with nature?
Caterpillar had to struggle and strife to become mature.

I had hastened and not let the caterpillar do it’s share of fight
I had made it weak and now the butterfly will never take a flight.
Dear friends, we too are always in haste.
We feel looking at small things in Life is a waste.

Remember all things will fall in place !
Be patient, don’t run mindlessly and accelerate your pace.
God has thought for all us at the right time -the rightful place.
Time will take its course, be thankful you are in Almighty’s grace.
