Why are we experiencing mental health issues?
We live in an era where ‘busyness’ is the password of the day. Here, our minds are besieged by a cacophony of notifications and tweets, The fear of losing opportunities and the relentless pursuit of success driven by the insane expectations of society is making all of us anxious and it plays hard on our mental resilience. This brings us to an important question how can we live fuller lives?
Follow 6 steps to improve mental health. Take charge of your LIFE. Become a leader and lead yourself to HAPPINESS.
1. L – Love yourself and make time for exercise, and relaxation, and take vacations, This will reduce stress and boost your self-image.
2. E – Engage in some or the other positive activities. It could be hobbies, co-curricular activities, or even social work. Be happily engaged.
3. A – Ask for professional help if you are unable to cope with your negative thoughts or stress.
4. D – Develop effective stress management techniques such as meditation, breathing, and mindfulness.
5. E – Express gratitude and reduce your expectations from others. This will make you happy, contented, and stress-free.
6. R- Realistic goals will ensure a stress-free life. Set goals that you can Achieve, break down your achievable goals and celebrate your accomplishments along the way.
