Happy Birthday my dearest Mother Earth,
I wonder how you tolerate the glib talk of people in power?
They give speeches to conserve environment and order cutting of trees to build mansions
I wonder how you give us your gift of rain showers year after year ?

While we dump plastics in all oceans
I wonder how you still continue to give us fresh oxygen ?
When we only give you poisonous gases in return!
I wonder how you still continue to give us the gift of flora and fauna?
When we like fools burn 500 quintals of mango wood to reduce pollution!

I wonder how you still not laugh at all the people at conferences and meetings?
When they waste so much paper in making placards and senseless greetings?
I know why Mother Earth ,continue to give so much more!
A giving mother to those children, who neither respect nor love their mother anymore!
Probably we still havenot lost our time to conserve our mother earth?
Just plant a tree it will give health, happiness and mirth.
