God when sent an infant down from heaven
He whispered, “I am sending you to a safe Haven.”
The puzzled infant asked, “Can anyone love me like you?”
God smiled and said “Your mother will love you, like I do!

She is my greatest gift to you my child.
She is your friend, protector, philosopher, and guide.
The pain she undergoes to bring you in this world is so terrible,
She bears it courageously which is so admirable.

As a friend, she will share and laugh on your silly jokes.
As a protector, she will shy away all the worries with her gentle strokes.
She will patiently listen to your prattle.
She will guide you to be strong enough to fight your own battles.
She will be your first teacher.
She is no second to any philosopher or preacher.
She will help you write your stories in your own way.
Her sacrifices and love none can repay.”
Satisfied and happy the infant smiled, “Thank you God for giving me a mother’’.
I will seek her advice and will not look further.
I will see you in her face
I will find immense love in her embrace.’’
