A little girl taught me a big lesson of Life today.
I had never seen Life in this way!
Small things would trouble me all the time!
Losing hair and gaining weight had begun to weigh me down,

People would be so harsh towards me and say-
You must do something quickly about your weight, if you may.
I had become dejected and would get depressed sometimes.
Would see my old photos and feel sad many a time.

Then in the garden one day a little girl I met,
She was happy and played superb basketball I bet.
To her, a little gang of insensitive girls passed a remark-
“Oh My God! You are so thin and dark!”
“The young wise player calmly replied,
My game and not my complexion is my identity and pride.”
Hearing this, I got my courage and confidence back.
Will work with forbearance and never look back.
